BLITZKRIEG 2 MAP EDITOR LICENSE
The Resource Editor gives you total license to redesign the game, add or modify units, characteristics, colors, textures, sounds and more - unlimited freedom to play the game on your terms. The Mission Editor allows you to generate and add your own missions, chapters and campaigns according to the options you want most, from level of difficulty to type of action. Two robust editors are Blitzkrieg's keys to unlocking endless game play possibilities. Each campaign has been meticulously researched to provide an accurate depiction of the battles that took place, while still maintaining the flexibility (and fun!) necessary to let you play the way you want. Details such as the thickness of a tank's armor down to the range of infantry rifles add a level of previously unprecedented realism. Historical accuracy is pushed to the edge as each unit is endowed with the actual capabilities and characteristics that existed at the time. Hardcore vets have the option of engaging the enemy immediately in a desperate struggle for battlefield dominance, or more cautious players can choose from pre-defined or unlimited randomly generated side missions as they gain experience, promotions and weapons upgrades as well as wear down the enemy before the central conflict. Blitzkrieg is the latest development in WWII real-time strategy gaming combining flexibility, historic accuracy and endless playability into one of the most challenging and enjoyable games yet! Blitzkrieg's unique and completely flexible campaign structure puts you in control of deciding how your forces will fare in each of the major engagements that comprise three central Campaigns. This is really adding to my enjoyment of the game.Eisenhower, Rommel, Zhukov Assume your rightful place among the great generals commanding the Allies, Germans or Soviets as they advance through the decisive battles of WWII. I have not yet tried to do any planet maps - i simply used the ones available. I am hoping this make for a more intersting scenario. The computer starts with some marked advantages in resources in storage and units on the map. Despite warnings it is a large one - Conquest - with 24 worlds. If you do not have them present - the game will hang when you try and select the map by name. Except - the targa file and the jpeg file have to be named after your map name with that -icon component the same as the other maps. You can call the map whatever you want and do not need to follow the naming conventions used in the game. The instructions for use of the space map maker are clear.

So - I have been working at a resolution of 1280x1024 and the map maker works fine. I i go back to the lower resolution for the desktop - it won't work agaiin. You can see everything and for some reason it is now possilbe to resize the window to see everything. As a trial, Iopened it up in a higher resolution. When opened at this resolution the space map maker has theight side cut ff - you can't see the boxes for food entry for instance. I normally run in a screen resolution of 1024x768. I have spent some time with the space editor and had a problem on startup. I was able to run both editors - a succesful startup at least. Noticed that some of the subfolders had an additional zipped folder - unzipped those also. Well downloaded the editors and unzipped them as indicated.
